1. What we collect

When you use NoExplain, we collect:

• Account information: Email address and authentication data when you create an account (via Supabase Auth).
• Business information: Business name, website URL, and optional description that you provide for Business Brain generation.
• Website content: We access and analyze publicly available content from the website URL you provide in order to generate your Business Brain files.
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers.
• Usage analytics: Page views and basic interaction data via PostHog to improve the product.

2. How we use your data

• Generate Business Brain files from your website content using AI (Claude by Anthropic).
• Store your generated files so you can access, regenerate, and export them.
• Process payments and manage your subscription.
• Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.
• Communicate with you about your account or service updates.

3. AI processing

Your business information and website content are sent to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. Generated files are stored in our database and belong to you.

4. Data storage and security

• Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS) with row-level security.
• All connections are encrypted via TLS.
• Access to your business data is restricted to your authenticated account.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your business data with third parties.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. PostHog sets analytics cookies to understand product usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

6. Data retention

Your account data and generated files are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days. AI processing logs (token counts, latency, error messages) are retained for operational purposes and do not contain your full business content.

7. Your rights

You can:

• Access and export your data at any time from your account dashboard.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Correct inaccurate information by updating your account settings.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
